Follow-up of Orienta4YEL actions to tackle early school leaving from the Institut Escola del Prat (El Prat del Llobregat - Spain)

On Wednesday, April 28th, the members of CRiEDO-UAB Patricia Olmos and Joaquín Gairín held a meeting with teachers and students of the Institut Escola del Prat. The meeting aimed to monitor the actions that this educational centre is carrying out to tackle early school leaving in the framework of the Orienta4YEL Project.
The Institut Escola del Prat has been working, since September, on an initiative based on a mentoring program that includes actions such as personalized plans through individualized tutoring (ATI in the nomenclature of the center) and support with mid-term and end of key-stage educational transitions supporting, at the same center, by the vocational training counselor of the ELIC- Baix Llobregat Educational Service.
The meeting highlights the importance of the various actions of academic and personal guidance that are being carried out.
